What’s up Peter? I haven’t been the best about keeping in touch this summer. It looks as though you’ve been about as busy as I have.

New Zealand was incredible. As soon as I got home from that trip, I started putting floors in the house. Then I went to Missoula for a few days. Since then I’ve been trying to get everything ready for the move.

I’ll be heading over there on the 24th of this month.

How have things panned out for you since the completion of the MBA?

Hey John! I was actually thinking about sending you an email an hour or so before you posted your comment — funny how it took me nearly a week anyway to get back to you…

New Zealand, eh? I’m too embarrassed to scan your old emails, but did you tell me that you were heading out there? Where did you go — did you travel around a bit or stay in one city? I trust you took photos…

How soon does school start? Late August? Do you have a place lined up yet? I mapped out a northern driving route that took me up through Montana and then across southern Canada, but it appeared to be more than twice as long as the one I planned originally. I’d still love to do the Canada portion of the drive, so perhaps I’ll make it back your way before your program is up. I think visit to Mr. Robinson is justification enough for such a trip.

Things here (Massachusetts) are great, though I am ready to get the ball rolling on a more permanent place of residence. We are less than an hour away from Boston, but just a bit too far from local commerce for our tastes (e.g. 10 minute drive to get to a grocery store). There are a lot of really nice perks about the area, but perhaps a bit too much of a change for Megan and I. I suppose we have been spoiled being able to walk to a grocery store or coffee shop whenever we need anything.

Life has been interesting since the MBA program completed. The China trip didn’t really feel like school, and life has been moving either curiously fast or confusingly slow since then. Our top priority right now is deciding where, if anywhere in New England, we want to settle, and then making it happen. Otherwise, we are really soaking up all of the time we have been spending together with our son and enjoying a less structured day. Evidently the days have been passing quickly though–I realize now that I’ve been in town for almost three weeks already.

Let me know when you get to Missoula (address, etc.).
