[no. 14] Caleb Turns One!
We celebrated my son’s 1st birthday last week and I thought I would share a few photographs. The first batch are from a quick trip we took a few days prior to Portland, Maine, while the second are from his birthday. We went to the Boston Aquarium and then walked around the city for a while. Then we headed home and baked him a birthday cake. He was pretty exhausted from everything we did that day but still managed to try his first bite of cake.
This first batch is from our trip to Portland, Maine:
Here are the images from his birthday:

Pete-
I just wrote the following, way to long message to you and tried to send it via the contact page on credoadvisors.com. It kept telling me I got the anti-spam code incorrect. I’m not sure if I screwed something up or if it’s a problem with your site. If it is, I figured I should let you know so you could check it out. Anyway, here’s a copy of what I was going to send. Now it’s out for all the world to see. I guess if they want to use it to find me in Missoula, good for them.
Here’s the original message:
Ok, so you’re in Boston. I didn’t even know you were moving. I mean, you mentioned it as a possibility that it could happen. Then you’re there. Of course your kid also just turned 1 and he looks like a real life little human being. That’s a good thing, and with his dad, it wasn’t always a sure thing. Megan makes up for a lot of potential genetic shortcomings though. Motherhood has been good to her. Fatherhood’s probably been pretty good to you too, but I never found you to be that hot anyway. Probably for the best.
More details about your move to the east coast: are you working? are you going to try to make a full time go of the consultant gig? wedding pictures again?
It’s a big step to move all the way across the country and certainly one that could be a catalyst for great things.
My address for Montana will be:
300 South Higgins Apt. I 12
Missoula Montana, 59802.
I did take many pictures in NZ. When I get set up with a high speed connection at school I plan on putting them somewhere for people to see. I got my first digital camera for my 29th birthday in April of 05. Since then, I’ve taken over 2000 shots. Not many of which I’d call photographs, but it’s good for an amatuer to be able to snap with impunity. Like my grandma always said, the sun shines on every dog’s ass sometimes.
I had a small digital in NZ and took almost 400 in 14 days.
At any rate, that’s enough about that for now.
As a request: I’m going to be purchasing my first laptop here in the coming months. Now’s your chance to convince me to join the Rebel Alliance. I was in the mac store today looking at IPods and some of their notebooks were reasonably priced. So fire away.
It’s good to hear from you and keep me posted about what’s going on. I’ll try to be better about it too.
